Anderson and Bairstow to take part in a training camp in South Africa

Jonny Bairstow will participate in a training camp in South Africa, at the start of December with “the target of returning to England’s Test squad”. Bairstow was dropped for the current two-match tour to New Zealand after a disappointing Ashes series with his performance. Bairstow will train against James Anderson & Mark Wood who will be continuing their rehabilitation from injuries in Potchefstroom at a specialist pace bowling camp, designed to test the pair’s fitness ahead of the Test series against South Africa. Olly Stone, Craig Overton, and Sussex’s Ollie Robinson will also take part in the camp between December 1 and 14.
