Archer dropped for Old Trafford Test after protocol breach

England have dropped the pace bowler Jofra Archer from their squad for the second Test against West Indies at Old Trafford on Thursday (July 16). The announcement has come out just hours before the commencement of the Test following Jofra Archer’s breach of the team’s bio secure protocols. ECB has stated that Archer went home on Monday when all the players should have travelled straight from Southampton to Manchester in their individual cars. Hence this issue has led to take serious decision.
