ICC recommends not to use saliva to shine ball

The International Cricket Council(ICC) committee has officially stated that players should not use saliva to shine the ball in order to control the health and safety risk in the current situation of coronavirus pandemic. And also there are other recommendations by Anil Kumble-led panel that the teams should be allowed to use an extra DRS referral per innings.

Anil Kumble has stated that “We are living through extraordinary times and the recommendations the Committee have made today are interim measures to enable us to safely resume cricket in a way that preserves the essence of our game whilst protecting everyone involved,”.
