Jack Brooks has joined Notts Outlaws on loan

Jack Brooks, a bowler for Somerset, has signed a 14-day Vitality Blast loan with Notts Outlaws. The 38-year-old seamer will join Trent Bridge in time for their Vitality Blast opening against Derbyshire Falcons on Friday, May 26. He will be available for selection in the Outlaws T20 games until Thursday, June 8th.

In the year since he joined Somerset, Jack has taken over 100 wickets for the County. Andy Hurry, director of cricket for Somerset, commented on the agreement, saying, “As we recently stated when Jack joined Worcestershire on a short-term loan deal, we believe it’s key for him to be playing high-quality, competitive cricket despite opportunities being limited for him here at the moment, reports Cricket Live Score.

“This move to Notts will enable him to continue playing competitive First XI cricket until his projected return to us in June. This situation is advantageous to Jack, Notts, and ourselves, and we very much look forward to seeing him on his return,” said the statement.
