The world has been shut down indefinitely with many activities including Cricket. But the BCCI now comes out with an action plan for starting the play that might turn out to be a reality soon. This development takes place after the government of India started relaxing lockdown rules since it was imposed from March end.
Now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning to open training camps possibly from August. The players would be ready to play after some good training sessions, as there has been no play for quite some time, said a BCCI official. Also Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill admitted that they require some practice to get into action after a temporary halt.
On the other hand England Cricket Board (ECB) will be hosting a 3-match test series with West Indies, starting from July 8. The announcement has some rules strictly imposed related to play including no spectators visiting the stadium, for reducing the spread of virus.
