Yorkshire terminates Ashwin, Pooran and Maharaj's contracts

Yorkshire have decided to cancel R Ashwin, Nicholas Pooran and Keshav Maharaj contracts due to the current coronavirus pandemic situation. As per the reports, this is a mutual decision by the players and Yorkshire. As we know that all types of cricket is put on hold in UK till July 1 which lead to the delay in English season.

Ravichandran Ashwin has signedup with Yorkshire to play eight matches in 2020 County Championship season, and Nicholas Pooran was contracted to play in T20 Blast whereas Maharaj is signed for the first two matches of County Championship.

Several counties are cancelling the contracts due to the coronavirus pandemic which lead to put all the sports events all over the world on hold
