Zimbabwean all-rounder Sean Williams has retired from T20Is, as reported by Cricbuzz. His decision follows the recent five-match series in Bangladesh. Despite Zimbabwe’s loss in the first four games, they managed to secure a victory in the final match, providing Williams a positive farewell. He will continue representing Zimbabwe in ODIs and Tests , reports Cricket Live Score.
Williams played 81 T20Is for Zimbabwe, scoring 1691 runs at a strike rate of 126.38 and taking 48 wickets with his left-arm spin. Interestingly, he made his debut and played his last T20I in Bangladesh, where he also captained Zimbabwe’s T20I side after Elton Chigambura’s retirement in 2019.
